Who We Are
The Odessa Fire Department currently consists of 40 very dedicated men and women who represent a incredible variety of backgrounds and careers. The diversity of our membership allows each of us to bring unique ideas and strengths to the table creating one of the best team environments in the area.
Our department is very dedicated to education and training which enables us to provide a superior level of service to the members of our community. One area that we have chosen to concentrate on is ice rescue. Several of our members have completed specialized training in ice rescue and we have several pieces of ice rescue equipment allowing for yet another layer of protection for our community members.
